Fist fighting looks amazing compared to the previous, general physics isn't as bad as GTA V but still not as good as RDR 1. I'm looking forward to the rest of the video series.
Aw fuck that's complicated as hell. I just wanna ride my horses and shoot my big iron
They bring some pretty good features to the table, but it all depends on how much depth they all have. A lot of the features they presented can end up being shallow and tedious if not done right.
5:25 looks really weird to me. Was he drifting with that horse?
Game looks real good, but I'm gonna have to wait to see what how 2K is gonna treat the game first, I'm worried they're gonna do something to ruin it.
Also the guy who was hanging on the edge of the cliff was called "Man from Blackwater" so it looks like we'll be seeing some familiar places?
Take-Two, not 2k.
As mad as I am at rockstar I'm weak for this game. Probably going to end up buying it at full price like a dumb sucker.
I WANT
Yeee dis game is gonna be fun.
6 minutes of marketing babble, nice
Take Two are the ones managing this, not 2K Games (I believe).
Anyway, a lot of what was shown looks to be pretty good, however knowing Rockstar and T2, some of the features shown might end up being shallow or over-exaggerated compared to whats actually in the game. Also those enviroments (specifically the grassy plains and the mountains) are fucking gorgeous.
Fuck yeah, DeadEye is still there. Easily one of my favorite things about the original was slowing down time and mowing down like 8 people in one fell swoop
I liked that feature that looks like some in depth speech mechanic. They had that in gta v too, actually. Pressing the right dpad button, it made the character say something, and sometimes it made peds attack you. Some next level shit realy.
I'm actually getting hyped for this again. The combat looks fun and I like the concept of limited weapons.
They did the same thing with Max Payne 3 and GTA5.
Yeah I mean, it's pretty common practice, because it works. Hype sells, you can wrap up any half assed feature in some big words and people will get excited.
They did it with the original RDR too.
I'm glad they're bringing in some sort of limited inventory, it was already kinda silly that you could carry every single weapon all at once in RDR and GTAV made that even weirder. Looks like they're going all out on the Wild West Simulator aspect with this.
Looks incredible. Also seems like they've got the death animations and ragdolls back to how it was in the previous game, I loved that.
the "Soulless Lady From Corporate" voice definitely didn't help
I hope they've improved the horse controls from the first game in this, they were kind of annoying cause it was mostly just mashing A/X a whooooooole lot.
It's unlikely I won't pick this up.
I'll never pay a dime into whatever online bullshit they do, but I'm not missing out on a game like this
I found it charming tbh. I loved her voice in GTA V's reveal videos and the guy from RDR.
What happened to the old trailer format? First time I've watched a R* trailer and not been grinning like a maniac, was more like a marketing presentation for shareholders. Unless they're scared the game looks so uninteresting to the general public that they need to explain literally everything. It looks fine I guess, all the added busiwork might increase the longevity of the single player, but they could just end up being a GTAIV Roman Bowling meme level annoyance. Howdy pardner, it's your pardner...
I don't own a current gen console anyway so I'll be hanging back on RDR2 until they bring it out on PC... if they bring it out on PC. We'll see what wonderful bollocks T2 has in store.
What old format? Rockstar's been doing these kind of trailers for almost 10 years now.
Actually, I remember I never watched a bunch of GTAV trailers after the first one because I was so hyped I didn't want to spoil anything. Probably why I have no recollection of this sort of trailer.
