Hello Facepunch,
I'm aware no one can remove my game ban here. However EAC will not respond to me and I'm looking for direction. I've owned and administered a Rust modded server called Rusty Dayz for about 3 months now. I was banned 7 days ago for allegedly violating Section 3, Part 5 of Rust Terms of Service:
Cheating: create, use, make available and/or distribute cheats, exploits, automation software, robots, bots, mods, hacks, spiders, spyware, scripts, trainers, extraction tools, mining or other software that interact with or affect the Facepunch Services in any way (except as expressly permitted in the Fan Content and Modding Guidelines.
I have never done anything listed. I do have a number of admin plugins that allow me to do things which may be perceived as cheating. However they are all from oxidemod.org or umod.org which are approved for use. I have even discussed this on the plugin/oxide forums to try to find out what happened without success.
EAC have denied my appeal without me providing any information to them aside from my initial dispute email. I have since sent many messages with out response.
I have reviewed my servers logs and found an odd EAC error that i remember forced me to have to "check game files" in steam. It occurred 07/08/2018 and is listed below...
68.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxx/76561198019785750/Blind has auth level 2
68.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxx/76561198019785750/Blind disconnecting: Integrity Error: Unknown file version (Bundles\maps\maps.bundle)
I have no idea if it's related to the ban or the cause of the file error itself. I suspect a corrupted file since checking game files resolved it and I've never seen it again.
I refuse to open another steam account to bypass EAC. I refuse to turn off EAC and leave my players unprotected. I have not violated any TOS and will not bend to this.
Has any other server owners/admins experienced this? If so, what action did you take to correct it?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you saying there are no server admins that look at the forums and may be able to provide insight into what occurred? Or at that facepunch officially cannot, which i already announed in my message?
Because not only Facepunch moderators look at these forums. I have been viewing all the other threads and helping people as well. Maybe someone has ran into this issue and can provide me some insight on what occurred.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Thank you Burre. My apologies as well sir.
It's more so for technical help and game play hints and the like. Right next to the new thread button is a thread stating what Burre said: don't ask for help with bans.
I got it. Delete the thread then.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
