https://www.dw.com/en/vandals-hit-paris-plaque-for-frances-last-executed-gays/a-44976704 A street plaque in front of Paris city hall, the Hotel de Ville, was defaced by homophobic vandals on Monday. The plaque commemorates Bruno Lenoir and Jean Diot, who were burnt to death at the site in 1750. The two were the last men to be put to death for homosexuality, which was decriminalized in 1791. The vandals smeared the plaque with black paint and sheets of paper printed with the words: "To make a child I must be a man and not gay."  Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, who opened the tenth International Gay Games on Saturday, tweeted an image of the vandalized plaque and said she was, "shocked by this latest shameful demonstration of homophobia." The incident was the third in three months. In May, flowers placed at the site were set on fire and in another incident a crosswalk painted in rainbow colors in the city's Marais district was painted over with homophobic slurs. Marais is the heart of Paris's gay community.
Those vandals totally missed out on their anatomy and sex ed classes. They forgot about the whole female part that is needed to make a child. I'm pretty sure a gay guy can still breed as they're no different then another guy. That's totally disrespectful for that to be vandalized though. Homophobia is ridiculous; I'm pretty sure most, if not all gay guys are going to not randomly touch your ween for their pleasure.
I can't imagine what it's like caring what people do with their dicks.
Well, you say that, but if somebody is trying to stick their dick in one of your collection of humanities' great orifices, you may disagree. Still, I totally get what you're saying. I'm socially libertarian, so really don't give a shit what people do as long as it doesn't hurt others. So, I think weed should be legalised for recreational use and that things like cocaine, MDMA etc. should be decriminalised (ie. not available for sale on the street, but legal to possess a certain quantity of, assuming you aren't selling it.) Being gay isn't destructive at all and I don't understand people's reluctance to accept this. The Ancient Greeks practised sodomy regularly and Macedonia conquered half the known world, so people's strange assertions like "gay people are cowardly" or whatever are really dumb. The first world seems to have moved on from homophobic rhetoric, at least on the whole. I think homophobia will be construed the same way that the n-word is now in a decade or so.
The ironic part is I imagine many of these people have no issue with having sex for fun and not to make kids, making this delightfully hypocritical. It's funny how many homophobes have no issue with getting a blowjob from a woman but suddenly its all think of the unconvinced children when gay men do it. I'm sure it's also busy body religious types as well who want to impose themselves on everyone as they always do.
What the hell does this mean
Can't believe being gay is stronger than a condom
That I can't write comprehensibly?
Please clarify then?
I was suggesting that the only time that people should care about what others are doing with their dicks if they were trying to start non-consensual relations.
i will never understand how someone can hate a person just because they are gay or a different skin colour or a gender. we are all people.
Homophobia is far less in your face than it was even 5 or 10 years ago and progress is good. That said, equal marriage didn't suddenly fix everything - when people think they're only surrounded by straight people they say things which make me pretty uncomfortable, and two men holding hands in public is still a lot more a risk than it should be.
I invite you to my hometown. I'm pretty sure it only inflamed the issue after progress was made elsewhere.
Oh yeah, to be honest being where I am is a lot better than a lot of places and I really sympathise with people who have to live with worse situations.
I live about 30 minutes from Orlando, where the Pulse shooting happened in June 2016. Some of the things I heard from people just while I was out getting lunch or around town with some very cowboy/agriculture-minded/turbo-conservatives was nothing short of appalling.
Yeah but these are French gay guys, you never know, I mean this is the same country where we just recently had a woman punched in the face for being cat called and standing up for her self. /s Seriously, this is fucking horrid and I hope they catch the vandal.
