From what I understand, Starrship is a collaboration between Rolls Royce and the RAF, discussing what a British Mars mission would look like.
Fun fact about chaff (radar countermeasure) both the brits and germans developped it but were afraid to use it because it would be easy to reverse-engineer once deployed. it just so happened that the brits said "fuck it" and used it to completely neutralise radar-guided AA stations during a major bombing operation
