So hey guys. Just curious when do you plan to fix the building limitations. It's very annoying not being able to place things anywhere. Check out "The Forest" and how you can build in that game. Some limitations are understandable, but honestly, what's cooler? A base on the side of a cliff being all bad ass and what not or some stupid base that had to be built on the flat plains cuz the foundation parts are so restricted? You should be able to build them as tall or high as you'd like within reason. The higher and larger the piece the more wood it would require, you know like in real life. And I think rust is trying to use physics, so applying physics would easily take care of over stacking components. I do like the degradation as a solution for the fact we finite resources available, slow internet and not enough processing power to really make a good game yet, but we're not that far off. Also lack of build pieces? Pretty basic fella's, when are you going to update this with more pieces so i can build some really awesome structures? Look at 7 days to die, how advanced their building is. Yes it's based on minecraft, but I never played minecraft so whatever. You literally have full freedom to do more or less anything when it comes to that game. Build caves, destroy any part of the world, it's smart enough not to put bushes in your building, (WTF is up with bushes and why can't they be destroyed? ) they have electrical and all that which is awesome, so I mean if you took 7 days, the forest and this game and merged the best parts of each, we'd have a seriously addictive game. But I've been waiting for ages now so any insight as to when you plan to release a serious update to this game? Anyway, I'm one who likes to build and this game is very limited as far as that, which is annoying. Shouldn't matter the angle, the height etc. blah blah blah, fix it please. Then with the cupboards, how do these work exactly, cuz I had one building next to another, but because they were not "attached" one was degrading, but then the cupboard kept saying I couldn't place another because I already had one built. Yeah. I needed one for each building, so that failed. Spent a good time building it too, just wish I would have tested that before wasting my time. Alright, well that's the major stuff I've noticed for now that is seriously annoying and I've expected would be corrected by now, but nope, still exist and still annoying. I need insight. Anyone have some uplifting news about anything I've mentioned? Are there any planned updates that address these "issues" with this game? When will they be out?
You're in the wrong section.
