• ambient_generic same volume one room

I am making a disco map and am wondering what is the best approach to playing music with the same volume in one room. I also would like the music to appear to fade off in volume as you leave the room and also get louder again as you walk back in the room. I would not want the sound to restart after you leave the room and go back. It would be like if you went into another room quickly and came back. Is this even possible?
