I have a thing for early boat engines. post ww2 they were just motors, but before that they all were designed to be pretty as well since they basically boiled down to luxury items.

here's a before an after of my most recent restoration I had to go to a museum to find the original paint colors but it was completely worth it. the only thing it's missing is the waterslide decal on the tank, since at the time nobody was doing reproductions and there weren't any scans of the decal online.
