Yesterday morning before logging out of rust i wrote down how long was left on my toolcupboard so i knew when it would start deacying the next day or so and when my deadline for getting back online was.
When I logged in today, roughly 6 hours before the time i had written down for the decay to start, I logged in to find the big red warning that base is decaying. i checked the cupboard and found it had no hq in.
I could have swarn i had 3 days worth in but surely i was tired and must have made a mistake. damn, spend next day struggling on a 200 pop rustafied server solo scraping more hq together along with everything else and wam, agin i get the decay warning. this time i was sure i had hq in toolcupboard.
I joined rustafied discord and was told it is a well known bug that happens when you put hq or scrap in a toolboard.
I mean, come on ffs this needs sorting pronto. My base is ruined now i had to log off and when i get back on all the armoured floors will be gone and most of them I will be unable to replace with metal due to me making eclosed loot rooms.
1 week struggling solo on a 200 pop server for this crap to happen. sigh. I feel sick.
they told me to report by f7 but f7 that doesnt seem to work for me.
There's been a bug for months that drains HQM out of the TC for seemingly no reason, I can't remember
exactly why it does it, but it hasn't been fixed.
Would love to know something like if certain toolcupboard placement senario caused it so i knew what to avaoid or something similar. would like to know how common it is aswell, so i can decide wether to build in armour again or not untill its fixed
