I am getting the same type of error spamming my screen but mine is sound file related and I am using Win 7 pro, Best thing to do is F7 and report bug with a screenshot, It only started to happen after the last game update, on mine it is
sporadic and lasts for about 10 minutes and goes away again for a while.
Hope yours is fixed soon too , though we might have to wait for an update before it is,

Yeah it seems to be an issue around water features
