Assuredly I tell you, even if you had true faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "move from here to there" and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you. If you can move mountains with some faith, im sure a small matter of money isnt hard to source
Starvation and diet control are a part of control techniques that cults do, and furthermore there are more than just religious cults to watch out for.
I can see why the restaurants are supposedly popular; the menu is particularly diverse. For a lot of people trying to eat vegetarian or vegan, these "Loving Hut" restaurants must be a welcome change compared to yet-another Subway veggie 6-inch. The televangelist vegan-pope thing is pretty strange though.
Cult figures that pop out of nowhere are so fascinating. I can't imagine having that much charisma, drive, and self delusion.
You don't necessarily need to be deluded yourself to lead a convincing cult, just convince others that you are
She also sometimes advocates something called breatharianism, which is a denial of food and water in favor of spiritual "sustenance." The practice, sometimes associated with older religions, has been tied to numerous dehydration and starvation deaths. I know plenty of vegans/vegetarians who live pretty healthy lifestyles despite not eating meat, but you need to be an especially gullible or dense person to believe in breatharianism.
This is so bizarre. Why have a successful chain of cafes and then promote not eating food? I've bought food from this cafe before, there's one close to my house and a sister pizza restaurant also not far, it's my go to for take away pizza now. They have a pretty good selection of vegan products, but I did not know about this crazy cult following the founder had. Figures I guess, crazy hippies seem to go hand in hand with veganism lol. I'm guessing they would also believe in healing crystals and be anti-vaxxers.... Fucking hippies.
Excuse me sir, I think you are confusing hippies with retards.
Maybe. But it's no surprise that the biggest suburbs of anti-vaxxers (in Aus at least) are also home to the highest number of rich hippies.
