I noticed there wasn't any thread for this. So here it goes... https://youtu.be/zwPn9ZnbCo0
I guess modern vfx technology finally managed to fully integrate anime into live action, good job
Didn't I just watch a robin hood movie within the last decade and it starred Russel Crowe?
I appreciate the medieval-modern fashion mix, but Robin's attire really looks bland.
Eh, I really don't like the fantasy-esque look of this, not to mention this doesn't look like Robin Hood.
To be honest, every time they try and make a decent Robin Hood movie, it's really bad, at least in my humble opinion. I'd rather somebody good like Denis Vilneuve made a Game of Thrones film, or something, even though I'm not sure the episodic nature of the show would translate well into a film and Denis is more of a sci-fi guy.
This looks pretty blatantly aimed at the Asian market, China in particular. It honestly looks like it could have been domestically produced in China...
This is probably going to fail for the same reason that recent King Arthur movie did. It's a story we've seen redone a million times and no one asks for it each time it comes back around.
I don't know if I like the weird mix of Medieval and modern aesthetics (crossbows look like rifles lol) and, yeah, Robin's look is really uninspired. It just seems bland, overall.
Every single time there is a Robin Hood movie, I always think to myself "Wait, wasn't there just a Robin Hood movie?"
You're not getting rid of the furries, stop trying to erase Disney's anti-capitalist fox. uwu
i kinda really dig this
That one in my opinion was pretty well done. When I went to see it, I did not expect it to turn more into an origin story than a Robin Hood story. Kind of wish it got a sequel.
I lost it when I saw Robin Hood leading Medieval Antifa against the Sheriff of Nottingham's Riot Control Squad.
