HELP ME.low fps.gpu 30-80%.
gtx 1060 6gb
i7-4790 3,6
16 gb ram both on 1600 mhz.
rust on ssd,windows on ssd.
gpu loaded 30-80%... only in rust.

Sorry I have no fix unless you play a different, well developed, well optimized game that isn't full of crap.
this is my favorite game,I played it for three thousand hours and want to play on,but I can not because of poor optimization, despite the fact that a year ago I had fps on any server above 100...but now it is simply impossible to play because of poor optimization...

depending on what server you play on, you will have higher on some and lower on some, if the server have not been restarted in awhile or "wiped" that server will be pretty cancer to play on.
i suggest you to downgrade the settings for now, have never hadd over 80fps ingame on potato, but now i can after the update 1year ago, when they fixed a memory leak and that Loadingtimes with the HDD/SSD now i hit 50% better fps then ever before.
Game does not look bad even on lowest, if you tweak you can make the game look pretty good, but i really recommend to put the ingame graphics "max5" to 2-3 as it makes no difference in graphics but only worsen your fps.
Also Rust in so meny ways are way more cpu/gpu eating then eny other game, not that the game is badly optimized, but its highly detailed, there is no other game that have this high in detail, that's why you should consider to bringing down the settings.
