Old thread was lost, so thought i'd start a new one.
The point of this thread is to discuss anything related to multirotors. Could be DJI style drones, racing drones, filming with drones, you name it!
Types of drones
If you are new to this hobby, you might think, there are multiple types of drones? Yes there in fact is!
Racing drones

These are mainly for racing and freestyle. They come in a various forms and sizes. The common size for racing is 5-inches.
Many of these are either custom build as people have different requirements, or budgets.
It is possible to buy them already build, and ready to fly.
DJI style drones

These are mainly used for photography and filming.
They are not as fast their racing counter-part, but are good at staying stable in the air.
Will expand the OP, later.
Funny, we just tested a drone system at work today.
Will upload a video ASAP
Let me start out by sharing a video with one of my favorite fpv pilot, Mr Steele.

Got a Mavic 2 Pro on the way. Does anyone know if it's possible to constrain the drone to a specific areas?
I know with DroneDeploy you can import shapefiles to determine an area to run a flight path, but from what I understand, auto-flight paths are the only use case there.
Only asking because the nearest park I can fly in has a very small area in which I can fly. I kinda need to practice here so I can get my video done for DJI refresh.
