One of my most favoriet things to do in cities is to drain a flood zone and expand the town into it.
Too bad after a certain size, unless the entire city is dark green with traffic congestion, the city service AI breaks and refuses to go pick up shit that is literally a block across from it.
If I get bored I'll generally just plop down a strategically placed electric dam and flood the whole city with raw sewage
I wish I had the money for this game and all the expansions...
Ive been having fun with the vanilla game but god damn, 80 euros worth of DLCs with some super useful/essential buildings in them is hard to swallow.
This game simulates traffic almost too well. Making anything that isnt perfectly thought out traffic flow wise is just gonna punish you endgame. Its probably the first thing ill mod.
At least you're flooding them with raw sewage instead of stale or even out of date sewage, that'd be horrible to do.
They go on sale pretty often. I'd grab After Dark, Snow Fall, and Mass Transit first since most mods use those as a base to build off of and they fill out the game nicely. Disasters is just dumb fun, Green Cities adds some nice stuff, and Park Life fleshes out parks (finally). Concerts is an eeehh dlc so I wouldn't worry about it.
This game is so fun but im too dumb to know how to do anything without a steam guide
I always build the cheap shitty houses next to the shit river so the poor people are punished for being poor
