So i recently upgraded my computer to a Ryzen 5 2600 with a MSI Tomahawk B450 as the motherboard, along with those i got the 970 EVO M.2 SSD, which I cant seem to find on Win10, I've checked in the BIOS and it appears in the Storage Tab under EZ mode but nowhere else, it does not appear in the DIsk Management on windows either.
Thannnks
I had the same issue with my Ryzen 5 1600x, Gigabyte Motherboard & a PNY M.2 SSD.
After a lot of google searching, the only thing that got it to show in Windows 10 was to enable Raid mode for the M.2 SSD and install AMD's raid drivers in Windows 10.
(I got the drivers etc from Gigabytes driver download page for my Mobo, So MSI Mobo page for you should have them.)
Might be same problem and fix for you?
Hmm I installed the raid drivers but i did not see an option in the BIOS to enable raid mode for the m.2 SSD, I got into the RAID configuration menu and selected initialize disk, which didnt show anything.
Probably different for MSI motherboards (no idea if it is since I don't have one).
But for me it is listed under the Chipset section of the Bios, and it has a NVMe Raid option that can be enabled. (it's just NVMe Raid: Disable\Enable)
It is not under the SATA Raid options, but an option just for the M.2 NVMe drive.
Yeah I do not have an option anywhere to enable nvme raid,
Is your motherboard up to date on firmware?
Yeah I downloaded all the updates off of MSI's site
