If their response to the subpoena is anything like Guliani's current performance, it'll get laughed out of court
Kavanaugh will side with Trump, it's one of the biggest reasons Republicans are hiding his documents and rushing his nomination.
Wonder why Kennedy retired at this exact moment, fucking a. Personally I feel like the the court would rule against Trump with Roberts joining the liberals but you never know.
Clearly the actions of an innocent man.
Nixon appointed fucking four justices and they still ruled against him in US v. Nixon.
Nixon didn't have a cult of personality like trumpy boy has though.
How political were those appointments?
Only one seems to have been as polarizing as they are now, William Rehnquist was opposed by a record number of labor unions as well as the NAACP, but was confirmed 68-26. Rehnquist would later go on to be
chief justice until 2005 after Warren Burger, and with him started the current conservative dominance of the court.
If there's nothing to hide or any wrongdoing why so much defensive bullshit that does nothing but draw more suspicion and drag out the investigation hmm?
He also didn’t have a dedicated propaganda network that feeds misdirections and lies to millions of people.
Ideally that shouldn't affect the justices or their ruling.
To be fair, in an ideal world a man of Trump's character would not win office of the President
With that said one should note that once on the bench politics really doesn't hold much sway. Unlike Senators and Reps who have to get reelected and sway the hearts and minds of their voters, a supreme court justice can pretty much say fuck all to whichever side they lean on once they sit on the bench.
In regards to political circles Trumps popularity among peers isn't due to his cult of personality, it's due to the votes of the people swayed by his cult of personality. A supreme court judge has no such worry, and literally has little to no political (as in within political parties) consequence to the decisions they make.
how many boot-licking pawyers did obama and bush have, and how often were they needed?
Zero, and none. Those two actually listened to their lawyers.
