Akella are the same people who made Postal 3. They're a defunct Russian developer. It was such a bad move for Running With Scissors to choose such a terrible bunch of developers.
The game looks kind of like an Oblivion clone? But all they did was butcher the game mechanics completely (Talking about Requital).

Trashmaster are actually a subsidiary (almost a label) of Akella that were, well... created specifically to make trash games.
Oh so it's like "It wasn't me, it was them!" lol
I love RGD, and his stuff is great... but I also can't help but feel that this episode is kindof on the weak side. I don't think it's Ross's fault, the game really come across as a middle of the road Fantasy adventure RPG game. I cant see any gimmicks that make it stand out, or anything that would make me seek that game out.
I have a bad cheap Excalibur sword I got from a renaissance fair. It has done battle and with ross calling me out, I have to watch this movie now because I have it.
I have a wooden training sword from renn faire, and yes the movie looks dope to me too.
Something else to keep in mind is that for the last several months he has been dealing with a mold infestation that basically denies him his typical studio space, and for a few months he couldn't record at all. He was also dealing with Poland's government who were fucking him over and not getting him his residency papers at the same time.
Nah, I think it's the game rather then Ross. His look at The Crew was pretty good, not my kind of game but it was still a nice look at it. This game on the other hand is just kinda boring

This was also the video he originally was going to do before the Crew, that just got bumped up. A lot of things went wrong leading up to this video.
Well I have several swords in my room right now and Ross makes the rules so I just watched it. Only working stream I could find had a ~15minute watch limit before requiring me to register, so I had to just keep reloading it in incognito and finding the right timestamp every time but I made it through. It was aight I guess
Had a bit of a surreal moment when I recognized a few of the names in the second Guild Wars screenshot as people I played with/against back in the day.
