• [Mac] Rust quits unexpectedly due to possible wave sounds?
    1 replies, posted
Ive recently started playing rust again (sadly on a mac). I'm having issues where my game keeps crashing after being on a server for 2 mins or so. Sometimes i'm able to play on a server for an hour or so then it crashes. I believe it is due to either water noises or a new wave sound as i've gotten red text show up stating an issue with it. whenever i walk in an ocean or near water i tend to crash more often then not. I've also crashed randomly in an open field so the water might not 100% be the issue. Please let me know if this occurs to anyone else and appreciate any suggestions on how to fix it.
Hey, Follow the steps pls: Step 1) On your Mac, go to Finder, Library, Log, Diagnostic Reports. There you can locate your crash reports. (rust_2018.crash) Along with those reports please also send your player log. Step 2) open finder -> menu bar "go" -> press "go to folder" -> paste "~/Library/Logs/Unity/" -> copy file "Player.log" Step 3) Jot down the current specs of your mac. Operating system, Graphics Card, Memory, and such. (Information can be found in the "About this mac option on your desktop menu when clicking the apple logo top left) Please Submit a request – Facepunch Studios (Attention Errn) and give them the tools to fix this issue. Not u are ht only one with this issue, we are here: mac crash problem since the puzzle update
