can somebody show me a trusty antiraid base design for solo player please?
Well if you can build it, it can be raided. Personally I like the triangle star design below. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/134778/be725e69-ccff-4935-b5ae-b2c442b836bf/image.png It allows for a good/safe airlock. And allows it to be effectively be honeycombed later when you have the resources. It also gives you an extra airlock door when upgraded and possible a store front. I like to make mine 2 stories high but that too can be an upgrade. You can use ladders or small furnaces or even cargo nets to get to upper floors but I suggest you use furnaces and place them in an out triangle of your initial build. Don't forget when you honey comb that you also do the roof. I don't want to teach you how to suck eggs but here are some important base build tips. Choose the right place to build. If you build next to monuments or on the beach people will see you and you will be raided. Out of the way areas are harder to find scrap but your base maybe be safer. Not many players like living in the snow. Also if you can place your door triangle at the base of a hill/rise so that some of the bottom of the doorway is just level with the ground. If you do this right the expansion triangle door (which needs to be a single door) will be partially under the ground making it impossible for people to run through. They have to crouch and thereby cant run past a well places shotgun trap on the roof. Have enough materials to build before you start. Hidden stashes are good for this. Upgrade when you can to stone and the core to sheet metal. Doors - armored are best but roller doors really deter raiders. Always go for the best you can. Never ever have a wooden door unless its the only thing you have. Sheet metal doors look strong but they are really weak. Tool Cupboard- Always lock your TC! In this designs you place your TC in an outer triangle of your starting base and you can door/lock it in. I use a single door so that flame arrows have their effectiveness reduced but it means putting the doorway in fist and then positioning the TC so its far enough forward to leave little gap around the edges but not far enough forward to poke through the door. Forget windows. Every time you place a window its a weak point. Not only can players see what you have and where its placed but its usually a structural weak point raiders use. You can use your outer wall next to your third door on the expansion to place a metal shop front if you like but no where else. Don't tell or show people where you live. If you have to take a round about route home. DO NOT use the same way back to you base all the time. You will be followed. I like to set up a "I am being followed rout" which I can lead the trackers into a couple of well place landmines or bear traps. I can keep running or stop and take the advantage there. Sometimes its better to die away from your base and just lose what you have than to lead them right to your front door. Use traps. They wont stop a raid but it will slow things down and might even allow counter raiders time to foil the raid or give you time to log on to defend. In a small base like this I prefer shotgun traps but a full flame turret can ruin someone's day. You will be raided sometime. Its the game. Don't get salty. Just make sure you build so it uses a lot of the raiders resources. You never know they may just give up if you build it right.
