The place looks so much busier than what it used to be like in the old videos. Though that makes sense because they stuffed so much more capacity in there. I must admit I'm a bit sad to see it become more of a traditional looking factory from what it was with clean movements and inspiring design. I feel the sense of urgency within the surroundings with the scattered boxes, and not a single person moving slowly. It's a clear departure from the past. Almost as if their plans for automation were idealistic and not adaptable to a realistic scaling to major automaker.

At least they painted it in appealing colors compared to what NUMMI had.
I like how their assembly line moves at a constant speed, forcing people to become more efficient so they can slowly increase the speed of the assembly line.
Yeah it's definitely got a lot busier, even though they moved battery pack and drive unit production to the Gigafactory. They are probably going to need another plant in the US soon to produce the new models they have coming out.
I've debated creating an EV thread for awhile, though I'm quite certain it wouldn't be particularly active.
