My old phone, Samsung Galaxy S3, broke today when it fell to ground real hard as I was riding my bicycle.
I'm looking for something with cheap. Preferably something with better specs than my last phone, so I can use some newer apps. I don't game with my phone, so no need to go overboard with power. I would especially like if the phone had some great battery power too.
Thanks in advance!

I'm currently using the Cat S40 and can recommend it. It's not superfancy but at least it shouldn't break on your next bikeride. It is bulkier than other smartphones tho'. The battery has a longer capacity than other smartphones (18 hour talktime according to their website). There is a newer model of it the S50 if you want a more updated version of it.
The new Nokias are pretty decent, using a Nokia 8 at the moment. Stock Android (almost), so it gets updates very quickly, battery lasts me about two days of regular use. 400€ at the moment in Verkkokauppa. The Insmat cases for it are rather excellent, dropped mine far too many times and not a scratch on it.
You can get the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S7 for pretty cheap now
Go with the 2018 refresh of the Nokia 6 (listed as the Nokia 6.1 on some sites, don't ask why) or the Nokia 7 Plus if you want a large display. I own the latter and it's absolutely great. I can go for 2 days without charging with average use.
I've used two phones from Motorola's 'G' family and liked them both. I think in the grand scheme of smartphones they're budget phones but I haven't had any issues.
The latest phone is the G6 for like $250 here. You can get a plus model of G5 for $230, which is pretty close to the new one, but with a slightly worse camera.
I personally got a g5s plus when it was on sale (confused yet?), which is $270 right now not on sale, a gigabyte more ram than the G6 and slightly faster I believe. Been good to me.

US links, but they show the specs and appearance.
moto g's are generally good budget phones, there's also the android one phones and the huawei p20 lite which i hear is pretty great, and also pretty cheap. you can also go with oneplus, although the oneplus 6 is a bit pricier compared to what their older phones were priced at on release.
I have enjoyed my S8 since I got it. Maybe it doesn't satisfy your 'not overpowered' criteria, but having been on a phone plan it came to me as the perfect phone.
If you're into cheap China phones, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a choice I've been happy with personally. Decent cameras w optical zoom, AndroidOne (clean Android, no bullshit Chinese bloat), dirt cheap, OK battery life. Only downside is no dust/water resistance.

Huawei Mate 10 (not the Pro version. I Don't know about Light version either). used it since the beginning of the year. It takes nice photos if adjusted correctly. also has a headphone jack. and if you are into that, has a preety big screen for if you want to watch youtube. otherwise, taking any of the "mainline" huaweis is a good idea. they are quite good phones
Galaxy A8? it has some nice battery life
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to give out the coins. Whoops.
So, I ended up buying a Nokia 3.1, which I got for 159€. I didn't have a whole lot of choice as I needed a phone rather quickly, but I think I chose right. It feels a whole lot better than my old phone in a lot of fields. Altough, I did have to get a new SIM card since mine was a bit too big. But it's the price one has to pay for innovation, I suppose. I also ordered a protective glass for it, which I hope helps a bit.
So, congratulations @🍆Sgt Doom🍆 , enjoy your coins! I shall also give one for @Jud , having a cheap phone as a backup is a nice idea for the future.
