Everything in the video was pretty clearly a joke, but sometimes people do try to say what they said was a joke after the fact. That's usually pretty obvious too though. Also, anyone who digs up random stuff people wrote on a whim years ago is an asshole. It kind of sucks that every little thing that goes on the internet might as well be written in stone.

...I wish I was joking, but there are legitimately people out there who believe good humor is defined by its ability to bring political enemies to task. Gary Trudeau is a notable example. At the very least, "punching down" is considered off-limits by these people. Meaning, absolutely no jokes that don't target white straight cis conservative Chirstian men. Otherwise you don't take inequality seriously enough - in fact you might actually be Part of The Problem™
