Facepunch Football League - Axis Football 2017 - Games

I've recently picked up Axis Football 2017, and was interested in finding out if FP would like to start a sort of Football Management league, in which we play as the GM's for our fictional teams, and the computer will Sim the games for us. I absolutely love the sport of American Football and I know quite a few others do as well. If you've ever watched the 4Chan Cup, that is similar to what I am trying to do. The teams will be completely made up by you, the GM, and player rosters will be randomly generated with Facepunch user names. Since this game has no multiplayer over the internet yet, we would be using the AI vs AI mode in spectate and livestreaming the games. That way we get the excitement of watching football and our teams competing, without any of the ads and constant stoppage of play. If people are interested, we can start working out a basic rule set for drafting players, season length, and any other thing we think of that needs to be covered. hey, don't have the game but i'll bite and enter outta interest but before i do what do i gotta know about this? can i have specific player names and then have those players have certain roles? do i have to make key art etc etc

No previous knowledge required. No game required either. Essentially what you would be doing is being the general manager of your team, all that would require is for you to be active on the forums so that you can check out the incoming "Draft" class(rookie players that you can sign for cheap), perform trades with other team managers, and manage your roster so the players with the best stats are your starters. You do not have to make any art if you don't feel like it, I can take care of that for you, all you have to do is come up with a team name(Preferably facepunch related). As for the specific player names, I haven't made an official decision yet, but the idea was that every player in the Draft Class, the original rosters, and the free agency, would be Facepunch users. I'll be putting together an official roster of all of those things so that everybody can view it this weekend.

Updated the OP to explain better what the idea is behind this.We need three more GM's to start the league, and we can hold off on starting the season for a bit longer if more people are interested.

RIC is now facing off against LMAO pics, and the current score is 7-9 with RIC in the lead.

Only two hours til the first broadcast, but the results are in for the first game of GMF vs Sensationalist Headlines! Sensationalist headlines took the victory, 34-18! While it is only pre-season, and things will change, just based on what I've seen so far, they may be contenders for the Facepunch Cup.

Cuel had a dominating performance in the second half that was completely unexpected, and ASIC and the LMAO Pic defense fell apart in the fourth quarter. The game was close up until the last three minutes, truly spectacular to watch.

Facepunch Footballers took on Ronald Incarnate for the final pre-season game of the week. FF took the victory, 36-27!

EXCITING NEWS! Madden 19 modding is in full swing, which means that this game will be transferring over to Madden 19 over the next couple of weeks(the break between pre-season and normal season) This is going to be amazing, as we will have a higher visual quality for the stream, as well as better gameplay to watch. It also opens up the potential to having User vs User control in a league, which I would like to implement if we can find a few more people to play!
