I played Insurgency sandstorm Beta and I noticed that the insurgents and security soldiers models are pretty good. Anyone can make some ragdolls? I think this game can provide many US Army or Marine like models. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/312541/9f1e1159-b15d-40ed-bdd0-645674aa7324/20180809205318_1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/312541/3981b3ac-1722-4772-a842-4be146f331c5/20180809183542_1.jpg
Aren't there enough generic soldier dudes out there?
No, We've had a big problem with the developers before when someone extract all the weapons from the game and nobody wants to mess with the devs again. and I'm pretty sure, they don't want anyone to pull models from Insurgency: Sandstorm
That is unadvisable before the game releases. TDO got in a lot of trouble for breaking the NDA.
Wait until the game is released unless you want to get into legal trouble
so sad, those soldiers with multicam pattern skin are really cool
That got me a month banned, and nearly a lawsuit.
the models -really- arent that good compared to other similar things out there. if insurgency is known for something it definitely isnt high quality character models.
Pff, who even reads that, If I don't read it, then the agreement is void! /s
Lol this is like beat down on The Devils Own day, it's in the past.
The game still in Beta, but something i don't understand here, if you buy the game, you own the game files why you can use them in a personal creations making scenes, you own this files bcs you spent money on, where is the logic here ?!
You want to be banned?or damage the other people? Earn by yourself if you want, stop this behavior.
There's a difference between owning a copy of the game for personal use and owning the assets to said game. Simply purchasing a copy of the game doesn't automatically entitle you to the ownership of the assets from the game as well, as the assets are still property of the developers and/or publishers responsible for the game in the first place. If they don't want their assets being leaked before release, especially with an NDA involved, then the content shouldn't be posted anywhere to avoid legal repercussions.
Holy crap, I thought there's no NDA. Why these shit developers always want to be Bohemia? or it is still possible to upload after the release?
Having an NDA for a game that's not officially released yet =/= being like Bohemia Interactive, dude.
I understand what you said word by word, personally i'm not OK with this my Friend ! And you're convinced ? Files are on my PC, i use them for a personal purpose, can't share them with other people, so where is the problem here, is this illegal ?
In this current instance, yes, It's illegal to distribute any of the content and/or files from the game due to the NDA that's still in effect. This will likely change once the game has been released, though that's assuming any NDA violations that have occurred so far haven't resulted in the devs deciding to not allow their content to be ported post-release.
