I've spent last 2 entire days trying everything to get the game free of freezes, I started thinking my pc wasnt good enough, but no i saw worse running no freezes whatsoever. I tried all launch commands, none help, my system has i7 2600 and gtx 1060 8gb ram. Used to run on win7 was freezing there too, so i thought that might be it but no, occurs again in win10. Before you say ah m8 bad cpu this sh*t was being run on crappy i5 2400 cpus with 1050 and 8gb ram, perfectly (almost) fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsvHo5XlRuc No lag whatsoever, ok lets see someone with my combo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSef0d7oXYo&t=96s (the low framerates probably due to game graphics being too high, ignroe that) Ok lets see mine (video is uploading, will edit in soon..) Alright, its been f*cking frustrating, pain in the bumm, and I was dealing with this for some longer time Please, any help would be appreciated, anything I'm up to try anything just to get rid of the freezes...
OK I will try tp help you out but its hard because I don know what you have already tried. Verify local game files Try dropping back to an earlier DirectX Try playing in windowed mode then press the full screen Run Steam in Admin mode and if asked by Rust say yes to Admin mode Create a new registry file for EAC In your services double click EAC and ensure it has the Automatic option selected NEITHER PARTY MAKES ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES TO THE OTHER PARTY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
could you list everything i could try? i did try a lot of stuff but feels like its outdated and maybe it helped older versions, but not newer ones. Also how do you do 5. and 6.
didnt help
How much and what type of RAM do you have?
8gb samsung ddr3 1600
Rust is a RAM hog. With Windows 10 taking up 1-3GB of your ram to begin with, you're not left with much for a RAM hungry game. With all the recent additions to the game it's using that much more RAM (to which you are at the minimum recommended amount of RAM to begin with, really should be running 16GB), so you should try allocating more of it to the game. There's a sticky at the top of this forum explaining how to allocate more RAM to the game, give that a try and see if it helps.
