https://www.apnews.com/amp/5068444bc8d549229b1c2b8fb079055b?__twitter_impression=true The early start, well before the 2020 field is known, signals the importance that the Democratic National Committee chairman, Tom Perez, is placing on decisions that will be scrutinized for any signs of favoritism among potentially two dozen or more candidates.
dear every network: Ask fucking questions about Climate Change so we don't end up with Turnips.
it was a profound abdication of their duty to ignore climate and the environment in all of the presidential debates, I expect fox to do so but for cnn and NBC to do so as well is exactly why the GOP can elect crackpots that do everything they can to destroy the world.
To be fair, a better source than CNN should probably spearhead that effort. CNN would just find a way to fuck it up with their low factual integrity.
Or even criminal justice reform. Like seriously, we don't need every debate to just be "economy, terrorism, jobs, healthcare" with the same answers each time.
I'd honestly rather we treat the debates as debates rather than contests. It has been a fair few elections since it mattered what they said. These days it only matters if they won or lost the debate, not what was actually said.
