Will this RAM work with any DDR3 motherboard? I assume that any RAM is supported by any motherboard providing that the form factor is the same. The reason I ask is because the site says "for Lenovo ThinkStation S30 RDIMM" so I'm not sure if it'll work for just a normal PC. Thanks in advance.
Usually people recommend buying memory which is in motherboard's QVL list. But I've been working with hardware for the past 10 years and I haven't really seen any compatibility issues if the memory is not in QVL. Just make sure the "PCX-XXXXX XXXXMHz" part of desired memory module specs is somewhere on QVL list and it should be fine.
