apparently the driver has a history of saying anti-semetic shit, and this rich boy is jewish which sparked his reaction you see in the video.
the driver denies these allegations.

I drive Uber as a bit of weekend cash when I need it, I picked up some drunk er, guy in a dress and he was telling me that the past 4 requests just drove past him as if they couldn't find him. (He was standing in an open pick up spot at midnight with no one around him.) Was a great chat and a decent drive. But other passengers have told me some uber drivers are horrible people. One girl told me that she keeps losing rating every time she denies a drivers advances.
Riders have ratings too? I've only ever used Uber once or twice so I don't really know.
yeah, i always thought it was weird that i got rated by my drivers too, especially since they're mostly cunts who try to get me to get out in the middle of a busy road instead of just pulling up at the side (with no cars parked there and no yellow lines etc)
What an asshole, I guess it's kind of justified if the dude was being anti-semitic but that is not the right way to go about it at all.

I took an Uber ride coming out of a surgery once, because I didnt feel like pulling on my my live stitches in the packed metro. Asked the guy to drive slow cause any bumps would be quite painful. Guy laughed at me and hit the gas - I walked out of the car at the first red lights, and painfully walked home.
Ik there's nice drivers like you but Ill never use Uber again.
That's awful. I have a friend who is much older (late 50's) who does Uber during nights, and even though he's vocal about his unfortunate views towards 'those queer types', he would never ignore a someone requesting a ride or act rudely to them in anyway.
You have to have some semblance of normal professionalism as an Uber driver, some of the drivers I've had have been fucking shameful. It's why I tend to just get personal lifts from my mate instead of going through the app.

I've read accounts that there were fake users leaving comments on the videos claiming anti semitic comments from the driver and the rider's social media accounts look like they're run by bots or other people. It just comes across as damage control and fabrication to me, but I don't know all the facts or what actually went down. He's by cancelled on in the past from his account and his friends' accounts numerous times which might paint a different picture depending on how you view it.

I would have thought if the driver was saying anti semetic stuff that offended him then his wording would have been different, based on stuff from the site it sounds like they tried desperately to claw his name back out of the mud.
