John McCain (R-Ariz.) is "partially to blame" for the controversy over President Trump's raising and then re-lowering American flags to mark McCain's death. The White House on Monday afternoon re-lowered its flags to half staff after facing widespread pushback for returning them to full staff less than 48 hours after McCain's death on Saturday. In response to a question about the flag controversy, Inhofe, who is expected to succeed McCain as the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the former GOP presidential nominee was not "courteous" to Trump."Well, you know, frankly, I think that John McCain is partially to blame for that because he is very outspoken," Inhofe told reporters, according to CNN. "He disagreed with the president in certain areas and wasn't too courteous about it." He's barely been dead for 48 hours, and already his corpse is being scapegoated by one of his own fellow congressmen. The Republican Party is fucking dead. All that's left is a Trump worshiping cult now.
This man lacks so much class that even the proletariat can't achieve his level of classlessness
I would say what piece of shit would say that about a person he served with in the Senate for 24 years, but James Inhofe is the cunt who used a snowball to deny climate change. He has also been the acting chair of the Armed Services Committee while McCain was not in DC, he is now expected to become chairman. So this guy is going to take one of McCain's jobs as well.
This isn't just victim blaming. This is 'the corpse is not yet cold and buried' victim blaming.
Chuck Schumer wants to name a building after the man, and then you have this. Goddamn
To recap what the controversy was, for anyone who didn't hear about it: On the day John McCain died, the White House's flags were lowered to half-mast The White House also declined to make a statement honouring McCain's service The flags were put back up to normal height the very next day The flags were taken back down to half-mast later the same day and the White House issued a statement that they will remain at half-mast until McCain is buried, after bipartisan outcry Trump will also not be attending McCain's funeral, which is a good thing because Trump would try and make it all about him. That's how a lot of GOP candidates have been campaigning for November: Their major platform position is "I support Trump and his goals" and they expect identification with and loyalty to the President is going to be what voters want from them. And there's an unsettling voter base demonstrating that that's precisely what they want.
The Republican Party died during the Obama years. They saw their grip starting to slip and panicked, trying to sway the vote in their favor in a number of legally grey ways. Trump was an escalation and now they're desperate to keep their heads above the water, voting to keep our election systems insecure is a sign of desperation.
While at work today, some systems at a couple of McDonald's interrupted my work-flow my popping up a screen-filling notification that stated that flags would be flown at half-mast until Sunday. The White House originally flew its flag at half-mast for a significantly shorter time-span than fucking McDonald's.
he's to blame? He's dead you fucking mongoloids. This is because the big orange baby is throwing a tantrum because mccain hated his pathetic orange guts
How in every level of hell did we get to the point where a senior government official is victim blaming fucking brain cancer?
Why the fuck are you blaming the administration? McCain caused the flag to be raised by being dead, something that's a big no-no ESPECIALLY when he more than likely saw the fucking government. For anybody who doesn't remember, Inhofe is the same asshole that used a snowball to "disprove" global warming.
"In response to a question about the flag controversy, Inhofe, who is expected to succeed McCain as the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the former GOP presidential nominee was not "courteous" to Trump." I wonder how McCain feels about not stepping back for an election now that this guy is his successor.
I gotta say, I don't really know how long is accepted as "long enough", I would think maybe a week or two? Definitely see how two days is too little, though.
lol I remember this guy https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6c/Inhofe_holding_snowball.jpg
"It's his fault because he disagreed with Trump." Oh, this guy deserves a few good kicks to the dick.
Republican bad, anyone else good There, terms so simple even the most brain dead of GOP supporters can understand
I'm sure we could repurpose one of these: US6293874B1
He's really emulating Trump in that statement: only Trump is allowed to criticize anyone and pettiness is the most basic function of government.
"he disagreed with the president." wow that's where we're at, don't go to mount vernon, washington is liable to reach out from beyond the grave and smite you down you fucking monarchists.
I don't know if this guy is a sociopath or just a dumbass but either way someone should tell him to fuck off. McCain voicing dissent wasn't a lack of courtesy, and this idea that you should coddle the president's ideas is outright dangerous. It's unfortunate that people will label McCain a RINO in their rush to bend over and be Trump's #1 Yes Man.
He wasn't courteous to our racist unfit prez
Chuck Schumer said Brett Kavanaugh has an "almost monarchial" view of the president's powers and he's gonna be there for 40 years.
he's a sociopath. The Environmental Scandal in Scott Pruitt’s Backyard he basically prevented sites in his state from being listed as superfund sites for years just to prevent the scourge of the government from helping people, then takes credit for both preventing their listing and for their listing.
Inhofe is the biggest dipshit in the senate
The only repub with a spine, no wonder they're chastising him. I hope all these motherfuckers pay for their crimes soon.
And he's rumored to retire soon. He 86. He doesn't give a fuck about anyone or anything - he's gonna live a spoiled rich lifestyle for the rest of his miserable life, and he'll die with a smile on his face knowing that he's given the middle finger to the earth and everyone on it.
He's living the American Dream
Somehow I read this as "Infowars" and was confused about how Alex Jones was in the senate, lol. I guess that's still descriptive enough of this idiot though.
At this rate, Alex Jones might end up being an improvement over some GOP congressmen.
Oh hell no.
