I had a programming course in college and I was fucking terrible at it. I dunno but my brain just couldn't seem to comprehend anything and no matter how well the tutor I had explained how anything worked it just didn't compute with me.

I am going to assume you started straight up with programming. I think people should really start with flow charts first. I feel like starting with code is ok with people who have the right mindset, but if you don't it's easier to click into it if you use a chart instead of code.
