people leaving mannup immediately can be for a large number of reasons -picked the wrong mission/map -horrible ping -recognize players from other matches and want nothing to do with it -bad class setups -their "main" is taken (lol) -the search took longer than expected and they gotta go Unlike what it may seem like, people don't just leave to personally piss you off.

Ahh, that new thread smell ...which is completely overpowered by the stench of neglect surrounding TF2. >.<

We're a party with 30-1000 tours, 3 people, usually the 1-10 tours join and leave the game, happened like 10 times today. Like, they don't even wait, they join the game, there's like 1 player in game and they just instaleave.

If TF2 Facepunch forums made a highlander team who would play what class

i usualy main soldier judging from my time but i dont really main one class for too long apart for pyro spy and maybe spy,

"main" is a terrible concept in TF2 because if you truly appreciate 1 class you're gonna spend time on the others to see how they can use their strengths around it.

Well personally, I "main" Soldier and off-class Sniper/Medic/Scout. Main meaning that I spend most time with that class and actually practice it If It's a competitive play.

I would like to play Heavy opposing Exor and see how good he is going around a corner and seeing me first

You don't fear the man that trained 1000 kicks a single time, you fear the man that has practiced 1 kick 1000 times.

I wish there was an official number of devs TF2 actually has. The ones that are actually working on the game. Is it really that difficult to tell the community that are losing hope what's up?

I wish there was at least someone who could do community stuff like what path of exile and warframe have.

I have the most hours being slow and fat, but when I actually want to win an objective I go medic. I find it to be the single class that has the biggest influence on winning the fucking game. You could not pay me enough to play competitive TF2, however. Particularly Highlander.

Medic is the most important class for winning games, but there's a big caveat to that. If your pub team is full of toddlers who can't reach the keyboard properly and uncle louie who hasn't used a computer since 1995, and they're all playing sniper, then play a power class and try to carry on your own. When your team isn't good enough to push through a wet paper towel much less a sentry nest, all the ubers in the world won't help. Sometimes if you want something done right you have to blow it up yourself.

You'd be surprised how much fun competitive is in general if you play with a good group of people.

There are plenty games I play, but literally nothing replaces TF2 for me. Over 1k hours on csgo, overwatch, WoW, I still come back to TF2 because It's the only game that makes my quality time fun. I'm in the same boat

Dead By Daylight is a good game i use when i need a break from TF2. Devs are very communicative with the community, which is very refreshing. Plus very very frequent updates.

TF2 is the only game that has managed to conistently hold my attention for the past 8 years
