I initially read this as nothing but avocado, oh god could you imagine
Yeah, no. You couldn't pay me enough to partake in such a study. All you'd get out of the experience is hieghtened iron and find yourself in the john more often then you'd like.
So, yeah. The whole experience would be the pits.
You're not supposed to eat that part
As a millennial I look forward to a 6 month supply of avocado toast.
The participants will receive $300 each at the end of the study and 24 avocados to enjoy as you please.
I'd probably be pretty sick of avocados at that point.
god damn, thats like 10 heart surgeries!
monounsaturated fat is good for your heart!
I've never had an avacado and at this point I can't tell if it's actually popular or if it's just a meme.
I avocadon't want to do this study.
I don't mean to play the devil's advocado, but
I mean I eat avocado at least twice a week, so it couldn’t be hat bad.
I'd say they're pretty popular; I used to work at qdoba and every other person would want some. By itself its plain as all hell, but just a smidgen on a burrito can really bring flavor out.
Somewhere in the Fallout universe, there must be a Vault where they only grow and eat avocados
I don't get the hate over them.
They're not some sort of super delicious thing but they go well in sandwiches with tuna, chicken, etc with other stuff in it too.
Plus that's actually bugger all money for 6 months of study participation. I know it doesn't take up all your time like a medical trial or something, but wow.
This would be about the only way to get me to voluntarily eat an avocado. Then again it's only $300 across six months so it's really not worth it even then. I don't understand why people like them so much. They don't taste particularly great, they have a shit texture, and they're pretty bland on top of that.
You have to eat them at just the right point of ripeness. Lightly (or heavily) salted, it's pretty good.
idk if i've just had bad avocados, but whenever i've had some it's tasted like ass
$300? Pfft, no thanks.
It's okay to have a wrong opinion.
Edit:
Jokes aside, you aren't supposed to grab an avocado and then just take a bite out of the side, they need seasoning. They also have to be ripe, in which case the texture is buttery and wonderful.
I mean money is money, and $300 is worth quite a bit here, I'd gladly participate in something like it. Reasonable quantities everyday (and it says in the article you only need to eat 1 for a day or two) for 6 months sound like something that will come naturally and doesn't seem to require too much effort to go through. It's almost like getting free food and free money, even if they aren't at an amazing quantity.
Each university is looking for 250 avocado lovers who are willing to eat one avocado per day or two per month.
fuck dude i'd eat 12 avocados right now for $300
I came pretty close to eating an avocado a day for 4 months
Guac on toast is a great snack that satiates the fuck out of you, tastes great, and is pretty darn healthy.
I think the avocado is bland argument is dumb because we have potatoes
$300 for 6 months??? I'll pass
Not if we think the same of potatoes.
just make guacamole
But potatoes are bland.
