Alright, I'm not a supporter of John McCain (or any major political figure), but right off the bat this dude didn't have his facts straight. He was shot down on his way to bomb a civilian light bulb factory - "even if it's the case he was likely just following orders, you can't bomb a civilian light bulb factory." This isn't even accurate. He was bombing a power plant. No more than one of these is to be hit in a single day. He goes on to use sources like "govtslaves.info" and "motherjones.com". Like, c'mon man. At least put some effort into your narrative. Content like this is just as bad as the far right.

John McCain is a figment of an era where the Republicans (at least some of them) were good people with bad ideals, in contrast to the current Republicans who are bad people with no ideals.

I generally dislike the suggestion that McCain was a warmonger. If you look at the history of American ex military politicians (Eisenhower, Grant, Washington) while they tend to invoke military rhetoric and threaten force more often, the fact that they've actually been on the ground in combat results in them showing much more discretion when it comes to actually using military force than just threatening it. They like talking about war, but they've seen enough to know they don't like actual war.
