What do you folks think about it? What's your favorite song? Do you think it's total trash? Is pointless shots fired with no real weight attached?

Thought that looked familiar.

he went too far with trying to diss one of my favourite rappers here, into this trash this album goes, along with all of his others
“Normal”
expresses Em’s desire to be in a regular relationship, as opposed to
the hazardous fictional relationships he has described on songs such as “Love The Way You Lie”, “Tragic Endings” and “Revenge.”
Em also wants a different relationship than his well documented experience with dating Kim, for instance through “Kim” and “Love You More.” He apologies for slandering her in his songs and making their struggles public on “Bad Husband” from Revival.
Eminem goes into more detail on his lovers reinforcing his insecurities on Nice Guy:
"I’m an emotional wreck, weak, everything over-affects me
When you joke it upsets me, you say I’m no good at sex
And you think I’m gross and unsexy
I need Scope ‘cause my breath stinks
You hope I choke on a Pepsi
Bitch, you was supposed to correct me!"
It's more that's its a part of the narrative that he's exposing his insecurities.
now that is better than anything eminem ever did
Sick album Kamikaze
Looking forward to what else Em is gonna put out
interesting.
Eminem was better when he was high all the time
relapse was a dud though..
2009, Pretty sure he had his shit figured back then?
Encore was the last of his albums I enjoyed so maybe I'm just not cut out for modern beats.
Sure he can do some insane technical raps but I am really not digging his delivery as of late.(and I know he can do it still, I saw him live this summer) It's like he's trying to cram his style into modern muddy beats and it just doesn't mix, give me some clear cut Dre shit instead.
mmlp2 was pretty decent tbh.
i also agree encore was the last proper eminem record.
i think a lot about older beats is how they were constructed seemed more organic than now. that being said there is still very good amounts of hip hop being made.
Sure but it's drowning in a sea of mediocrity.
Times have changed and the bar for entry to the scene is way too low for me to bother going hiphop hunting. Zing me with a "back in muh day" if you want but I just spend the last 45 minutes going trough the top charted hip hop bangers of the last few years and now I'm worried black america is facing a speech impediment crisis. Now don't get me wrong I'll enjoy the fuck out of any set performed at a blunt friendly venue, but I live in Copenhagen and the size of our scene is a bit more manageable
