Can't have a battlefield without some scooby doo tier bugs courtesy of one of the most stupid advanced game engine in the industry
Part of the charm which will honestly never get old
War is hell
I liked how the planes being in buildings exploded less than the ones in mid-air.
Blink and you'll miss it 9:33 dude gets violently raptured
Does it still have the bug that's in all of the Frostbite games in which you vault over an object but nothing happens. Over. And Over. And Over.
I didn't encounter that issue at all when playing both closed alphas, they have actually added some bindings that lets you chose if you want to vault or simply jump on place to counter it.
At least when I glitch through the floor and explode, it'll be ray traced.
I guess I'll be staying on the "wrong side of history"
I'm honestly impressed at how clean the release of these games usually are with how buggy the alpha and betas are

I think even BF3 alpha wasn't this buggy, holy shit
I still love the floor gremlins that are a shoutout even back to BF2

God. Fucking. Damn. It.
We're technically five games into them using frostbite and this problem is still prevalent. It happens to me every single round and causes so many issues, especially in areas I KNOW I can vault over.
Idk, it was pretty bad in the bf3 beta when they had terrain deformation and after 3 shots at the ground the entire server would start falling into and rubberbanding in the ground, not being able to move.
AFAIK i don't think they ever added that feature back after that
The guy's playing an alpha, what does he expect?
Haven't put my fourth wheel on my car yet. Thing drives like shit.
Doesn't this game come out in November?
How could this thing possibly still be in Alpha?
This build is from May.
The BF3 Beta had loads of issues, but the fact an LAV could dig itself under the level and just stay there always entertained me.
It's pretty common for the Battlefield Alphas to be total fucking messes like this. A friend couldn't even take part in the BF4 open alpha as it would just crash to desktop on launch due to him rebinding the keys. He's not tried it since the game came out, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't crash for that reason at least. Just one of the hundreds of other possible reasons.
Old builds.
Barring BF4, these problems are usually ironed out by the time the game releases
Pretty sure it's a common thing in general for unfinished games to be unfinished.
tell me the AAAARGH wasn't edited on, please
BF3 you were able to vault which broke your model 50% of the time, or be able to dig a hole and fall through the map. Which allowed you to shoot at people from below without getting hit yourself. BF3 alpha was a dumpsterfire compared to BF5 alpha, to the point it made me wait a full month after launch before i looked at it.
IIrc this build which was sorta a modified E3 build was itself a version of the game that was months old even then.
This is exactly how my great uncle went down.
when you're buying a car and you're minutes away from signing and it still doesn't have 4 wheels but the dealer absolutely promises it will despite the last 5 cars rolling out with 3
You wouldn't preorder a car...
um excuse me

They aren't going to fix this shit in 2 months
Truly, the last good Battlefield was BC2.
