God really hates Japan. =/ I hope they're alright and that it isn't too serious. I imagine that their cities are designed to be more resilient to this sort of thing than in most countries, so I wish them all luck.

in all seriousness, this storm looks pretty brutal. that shot of the tanker slammed into the side of the bridge looks like something out of a disaster movie.

This looks absolutely terrible. I stayed in Higashinari-ku for a while; I wish I could go back to help with a relief effort. Unfortunately, school just started here, and I have to deal with Tropical Storm Gordon.
