So either I believe the man on the n=1 diet who claims it cured all his ailments and that deviation from the diet kept him up sleepless for 25 days straight (his daughter claims that should even a crumb of ‘wrong food’ enter her mouth, she’s ruined for a month), or I stick to the (little) scientific data we have on the matter that says in the long term, it’s a pretty bad idea. Carnivore and Paleo diets are classic dietary woo.

as I understand it the only studies conducted on the matter are very short term (1 year during consumption) and rarely contain more than a couple of people.

And, unlike the few studies I’ve read, Peterson doesn’t specify whether he eats organ meats, and he -only- eats beef. Not to mention it’s an environmental disaster of a diet.

Also people report "results" for all sorts of mad crap. There's people out there who swear down that drinking piss cured their cancer. The only thing you can really gather from this is that there are a lot of morons out there.
