I hope their lives get ruined
Two coward pieces of shit are probably already back in russia.
What are we supposed to collectively do about Russia? Obviously nobody is gonna start a war with them, but are sanctions really doing anything? It's like we're getting to the point where we need to full on embargo Russia or ban the entry of anybody with a Russian federation passport into the US or UK
Hopefully they can be kept alive to see trial. I imagine the Russian government is hot on their tails making sure they say nothing.
The fact that Trump relaxed aluminium sanctions on a Russian supplier implies that sanctions do hurt Russia, at least economically.
There needs to be an international, indiscriminate agreement by every nation not to buy Russian goods, exports, services, and / or refuse to do business of any kind with any Russian (or proxy-Russian) company or individual. Stop selling them seeds to grow food with, and stop buying their natural gas and oil. Let them utterly disintegrate as a consequence of their actions, until they agree to change their tune. Beat them into submission.
If they're in Russia there's no chance they'll ever face trial
They were in the UK for two days, from Russia and to Russia. it was a blatant assassination attempt.
The problem is Europe half-assed the sanctions because of dependence on Russian gas, then Trump came along and sucked Putin off. Sole those two problems and they can be embargoed up the ass.
America should take its huge wealth of natural gas and ship it to europe at cost to fuck with Putin
Unfortunetly Trump is at the helm and for a very long time the United States' energy policy has been restrict exports to drag down domestic prices. Exporting means the average American pays extra at the pump and extra when they get their gas bill in the mail.
No let's just invade Russia
Alright guys, I usually avoid political discussions and never really been an avid apologist of Putin's actions, but this is pretty mind boggling. Here are the photos from this article. Not sure if it's an official police resource, but I don't think they would edit the released images anyway. So, can you notice something strange on them? http://resources.mynewsdesk.com/image/upload/c_limit,dpr_1.75,f_auto,h_700,q_auto,w_670/axujdot1hy9zgpomykig.jpg http://resources.mynewsdesk.com/image/upload/c_limit,dpr_1.75,f_auto,h_700,q_auto,w_670/nljtgszmc3sgq7fakxwv.jpg I also like how the same images in the op's article are cropped so the timestamps are not visible. I mean, I know you would shit on me anyway, but it's not like I care much about my reputation here, so I may very well just point out on some minor inconsistencies in the released documents, right?
What exactly is the issue here?
The timestamps on both images are the same.
It looks like it isn't the same hallway.
I don't think there's any inconsistency there. It's pretty clear that these photos are from two different cameras - one of them is oriented pretty differently to the other. I think these are photos from within the baggage reclaim gates at Gatwick - I couldn't find any pics from Gatwick itself, but these are similar things at other airports: http://img.aeroexpo.online/pt/images_ar/photo-g/172201-10412986.jpg https://d1bvpoagx8hqbg.cloudfront.net/originals/copenhagen-airport-be8c6b2e7372a5c3f09eeac2cb4273a2.jpg I think they're both walking through the gates next to each other at the same time. So there's literally nothing suspicious about the timestamps matching.
Yeah, I can see it now. Guess I'm just too tired at this moment, so disregard my post then. Sorry.
It could be purely coincidental seeing as how the cameras pointed at them are not angled the same way in both images. It would be suspicious if both images are shot at the exact same angle, because then it would mean one camera catching two people in the same place at the exact same time.
But, @karimatrix said it wasn't Russia... I'm so confused
I've found a video showing the reentry gates at Gatwick, confirming that's where the images are from (right at the start of this video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGX0J_fBpyw
Dude it was a setup by the uk to frame russia!
Also look at the signs in the bottom right corner.
