Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley said the gunman was "actively shooting innocent victims" and that it was a "horrific" scene.

Looks like this would have been much worse had the police not engaged so quickly.

Seems we got lucky and there were several officers already there to react immediately. Could have been worse, but I hope anyone injured can fully recover, this city has been dumped on enough. Our morgues are literally full right now with ODs, this certainly isn't going to improve the general mood around here.

A close friend of mine had a family member who stopped for coffee across the street before entering their place of work ( this building ) and when they walked out of the coffee spot, the police and ambulances were just arriving.

Horrible news, I hope the surviving victims recover well.
