Early test reactions to Elizabeth were incredibly negative, Levine remembered asking a friend about his thoughts on the character and he simply replied that he hated her.
That tidbit regarding use of stage play techniques for the narrative scenes is pretty neat. Also haven't seen that super early prototype of Elizabeth before, with the green dress and puffier hair. Shame Infinite fell short in a narrative and gameplay sense, it's still one of the prettiest looking game from an artistic standpoint I've played.
I really liked that one gameplay demo they showed early on where it appeared that you could go pretty much anywhere in a huge area with many different floating areas connected. Its a shame that sort of ended up being an incredibly on rails shooter missing a lot of the sandbox type powers and weapon variety of the first two. Infinite was a fun experience but i doubt i'll ever play it again. I hope they can sort of go back to the format of the first game for another one because i feel like theres a lot you can do with this multi universe idea while keeping variations fresh.
