So I am looking to get rid of this digital to analog converter I currently have and spent some time looking for ways to do it but the way I want to do it (PS4 to sound card to speakers) seems to be the cheapest way that I can really find. The main reason why i want to get rid of the converter is because my speakers (z506) have to turned way up to even hear anything from my ps4 while practically blasting everything that comes from my computer. My question is... Does anyone have any problems with this setup (PS4 to Sound Blaster Z to speakers)? Or is there a better solution to this besides spending hundreds to thousands of dollars to this problem?

Did you have any problems setting it up? Also.. do you get 2.0 or 2.1? I never got any verification on that either.
I have more issues with the Sound Blaster Z card its self, every once in a while it reverts to a driver for another device and is a bitch to get fixed, if there's alternatives I'd go for that
