• Easy Bonemerge Tool removing shadows from bonemerged items

Apologies if this isthe wrong section but i think one of the developers on here made it Ok so us screenshotters have got an issue where the easy bonemerge tool removes the shadows of items when bonemerged So for example if i bonemerged some glasses onto a dude the shadows wouldn't show for the glasses, it would act as the glasses don't exist. Would be great if there was a fix for ths
sadly only tool able to cast bone merge shadows is the bonermge tool but its sadly resets bodygroups meaning you can only select skins before bonemerging the model which is still annoying.
I will take a look into fixing this.
So I have looked into this, and as far as I can tell, the same problems affect the other Bone Merger tool. (except in their case in my tests, the shadow is cutoff, while in my case bumping the model fixes the shadow) The lamp tool works properly. If you have specific cases/models where this just outright removes world shadows, let me know. Pictures would be helpful as well. I can't find a good fix for this issue without unfreezing and refreezing models which can cause them to move. But as I said, moving any part of a ragdoll with your player, shooting em or physgun will force the shadows to update.
it only affects if you use your tool to bonemerge the same prop later using bonemerger tool, if you use a different prop this issue dont happen

No, I mean in your case, when you tested it
??? I have no idea what you are talking about? Why are you telling me how I tested the 2 mods? I tested both of them separately from each other, on different game installations in fact.
Moving the ragdoll or bumping it does make the shadows update but then it just resets to having no shadows again. I am assuming the red shadow is from a lamp tool? What tool are you using to make the model t-pose? What model(s) are these?
I'm talking about lamp shadow this happens to every single model thats bone merged on every map t-posed or not. (Its a l4d map with RS2 americans and just the stand pose tool on workshop) Anything thats bonemerged onto a model on any map won't cast a shadow from a lamp
