I mean, leaving aside the terrorism-related language, he's not that wrong. May's Tories have run Brexit about as badly as it could've been. Not that I trust Boris to be even half as competent.

I mean yes they're being singular minded about removing britain from the EU at all costs but then Boris here still wants that and wants the most painful complete removal from the EU which itself is a fanatical view against globalism and western democracies.

Boris desperately wants to be PM by any means necessary, he doesn't hide that fact very well. He's trying to turn the Tory base against her. I honestly hope we see the moment he realizes he'll never be PM but some brain dead twat who hastened his party's downfall and destroys any reputation he had left.

It seems like a textbook case of he and David Davis gave her the rope, and resigned, she hung herself with it, and they wanted to jump in to become PM. Problem is Boris is having a mental breakdown and say shit like this that is wildly inappropriate to be said outside of closed doors with confidantes. Then again knowing how Boris has backstabbed everyone in his life and career at this point he's vulnerable to leaks as much as his idol Trump.

he keeps his hair like that purely to seem goofy and non-threatening. much like Trump he lowers people's expectations of him in advance in order to make himself seem smarter when he defies them. and also much like Trump he doesn't know he's exactly as dumb as he looks.

Because he's forming the same cult of personality that Trump formed, he's building the narrative that HE TELLS IT AS IT IS. Reality doesn't factor into the equation anymore. Let other people worry about actually negotiating brexit, whatever happens he'll come out the other side with considerably public support, enough probably to become leader of the Tories. He's smarter than he lets on, this is all part of a considerable effort to degrade our politics to the level that America is at, where your choice is between "left wing party" or "literal Nazis". As long as BoJo remains relevant he doesn't give half a shit. At the very least it appears that the more sane members of the Tories are seeing where this is going and actually starting to push back against him. But its far too late.
