Heey y'all!
I've a small problem that I would like to discuss in this thread and maybe even find the solution for my problem.
I've started a TTT server a couple of months ago and I've added most of the addons/custom content I want (for now then haha).
But lately I've been looking at the console and I see that lots of people are joining (so downloading the content) but they disconnect without even joining the server.
So obviously it has something to do with the download time of downloading everything.
But the weird thing is that if friends/other people join and I ask their download time (for the first time joining ofcourse) it is always under a minute/a minute and a half.
The friends joining all have relatively good internet and a good PC.
Welp were I'm going with this is: How can I check the average download time for my server (with like average internet speed and an average PC)?
I ofcourse want a successful and good server and this is the main issue atm, many people not fully downloading the content and leave in the download screen.
I also didn't clutter the server with too many addons and custom content so that shouldn't really be the problem.

Are you using workshopdl?
it sounds for me for workshopdl...
its normal that the download takes time.
And your friends i guess they already got some addons from the collection and thats why it goes fast..
Is it downloading or did you mean the time when u need to connect..
the last step (Sendign Client Info) takes time, too cuz its loading all client lua files like derma panels... and so on...
You could subscribe to your workshop addons and download them first and than u could join or you join the server and you can wait for the download.. but if its workshop dl u could give us the workshop collection ID/Link and maybe you have to much addons in workshop
