TLDR:
packs after the two starter decks and 10 packs start to cost 2 dollars each pack
you can sell and buy cards in the steam market
and also trade cards between friends
(perhaps trade as in the same way you trade items in tf2)
1 rare in every pack
when asked if a important card that is good in every deck costs something like 100 dollars the devs replied to them that this cannot happen
didnt say in what way but the people in IGN speculated that they might cap the pricing on the cards but they dont fully know
reprinting cards will be a thing in this game, reprinted cards will have the same effects but they will be considered a collectors version and "that becomes the expensive thing".Wont be necesery in the core part of gaming they say
minimum price on market price is 3 cents
devs claim all common cards in the game can be brought for a couple of bucks
cards are looked into to be viable for years
they working on a idea of players sharing/borrowing each others decks, such as two people trying out each others deck and then after the match returning the deck to their respective owners.
Even if they cap the price on the Steam Marketplace, we'll just see trading through workarounds just like extremely rare Dota 2 or TF2 items, so I'm interested to hear what they have in mind although I feel it's going to fail either way.
I've heard they might do a wildcard system where every so often you get a wildcard of a given rarity that lets you pick a card of that rarity that you want. I know MtG Arena does exactly this, don't know about other games. But it definitely impacts the potential for a card's price to skyrocket if anyone can get it at will by just picking it.
Card game fans: "Thanks to the migration towards digital, it is possible for card games to be more accessible and less of a crack heroine addiction"
