This, we speculated, meant that Valve would be ending its rule disallowing "pornography," and that appears to be the case. After adding new filtering tools which allow users to opt into seeing "Nudity or Sexual Content" and "Adult Only Sexual Content" on the Steam store (those are two separate categories), Valve has approved Negligee: Love Stories for release this Friday, a game which was previously held up while those tools were being developed. "I am happy to confirm Negligee: Love Stories has completed the steam review process and will be our first every 100% uncensored game on steam, no patch needed," writes the developer. Negligee's Kickstarter page includes censored images of the game's "adult" scenes, and it's clear enough what sort of game it is—though Valve still hasn't removed "pornography" from its list of disallowed media on Steam.

Good as far as I'm concerned. There's nothing wrong with porn games and the selling there-of. What I care about not being on steam is the stupid fucking asset flips and half assed titles, just the complete lack of curation, that make it harder and harder for genuine developers with real creative projects to be seen on the steam store page.

By default I believe they're hidden. Click your name in the top right and go to Store Preferences, you'll see tick boxes to show various types of content.

At first I didn't like this new policy but now it's okay. The more vr porn the better.

While I do think porn games have every right to be sold on Steam, I have some doubts regarding the filter. It still isn't robust compared to a proper human curator, so I'm expecting raunchy content to slip through.

My account has plenty of adult games already because I just don't fucking care. I MST3K them from time to time because, outside of a few either by western devs or by seriously dedicated eastern devs, they're completely fucking jank. And even ones with western devs can be fucking goofy too. Like that game Melty's Quest (which just released an uncensored update), has a lot of really fucking weird and goofy shit although its also like 50% parody.
