If guy said he only be there for 57 days (Midterms), It literally means temporary false solution not permanent one for rest of Post-Obama presidency.
Honestly, it's all about his messaging and the good he can do as a unifying symbol. What America needs is a familiar face to set the record straight and he's doing that.
I think what's really happening here is that people see sanity from a social leader and it's definitely gonna reinvigorate the progressive movement, despite him not being able (and willing) to run for office. IF he attached himself to the party in a leadership position and helped them regain their integrity after the 2016 internal sabotage controversy, rebuild solidarity and trust, America might just have a healthy future in store. If not, Banana-republic it is then.
In hindsight, Obama may not have been as great a President that we all wished him to be. But if there's one thing he got going for him, and always have, is that he is charismatic, has integrity,
actually cares for people, and actually tried to change things for the better.
Even after all the shit Trump has done, even to this day, I am still astounded as to how America went from having a President like Obama, to a President like Trump.
Damn, one day for each state in the US...
