Maybe voting in a radical manchild who ruins everything has made people generally dislike your party, Mitch.
While it helped a ton, Trump is nowhere near "the" problem with the republican party. Just one of them. Remove him, and you still have a party of disgusting people. It's just that it was easier to ignore those people when they're the senator of a state of a different region than you, and you'd have to bother reading news to even hear about it. Now, there's the worst of them on top of a mountain, shouting it all from a megaphone.
I hope these articles dont cause people to not wanna bother voting like they did in 2016. All the "Hillary has a 99.9% chance of winning!" articles caused a lot of potential voters to stay home.
Fuck Mitch McConnell to the day he dies
If the Senate is at play that's all the more reason the Kavanaugh vote shouldn't be rushed, but we can't expect the GOP to play by the rules they write.
good, mitch mcconnel needs to be railroaded out of the senate along with all these other secret agenda guys. fuck them, reshaping the judiciary through rigging the senate is killing our government. meanwhile, Jim Jordan is running an outsider (superPAC) campaign to elect him speaker of the house.
When Scalia died he tweeted "The American people deserve to have a voice in choosing the nest justice" Most hypocritical human of all time besides Trump.
Aww the poor GOP, this is what karma looks like you fucks. They deserve everything coming their way.
In equally good news, 538 gives Dems the biggest chance of winning the House yet, 81.8%. This might be really good since apparently pollsters change from using registered voters to likely voters after Labor Day, but I don't know which party that traditionally helps, if any.
Stop pushing shitty candidates with shittier ideals then maybe?
I still think taking the Senate is a long shot, but it was initially thought that the GOP would make big gains in the Senate even if they lost the House. If they can be held at or around the same number of seats, that will still be a big deal
Good, I hope it keeps them crying at night.
It took six years into the Bush administration for Democrats to take congress, just two might be a record
Good, be afraid, you sons of bitches. America is starting to stir in its sleep and we'll be there to wake it up from this nightmare.
The Senate is already really close though, 51/49. The states aren't a great outlook, Dems are mostly defending and most of the contested red seats are pretty deep red, but it only takes two flips to get a majority. A +6 point swing towards Dems could do it.
McConnell screws Dems ahead of election with October session literally wasting time just to fuck with dems as he did in August. Most scummiest fucker ever to be elected.
Wouldn’t be the first time Turtlehead did something shitty to fuck up the political process. Here’s hoping it’ll be the last.
"Do you see us coming for you, prophet?"
well if they loose Texas and Nevada they'll hang him for August and September because he' betting this hurts dems more than republicans.
Nate Silver reckons the Dems need an 11 percent margin. Recent high quality polls have shown them anywhere from +2 to +14 https://twitter.com/NateSilver538/status/1039264490687291398
The Real Story Of 2016 | FiveThirtyEight I can personally attest that multiple news orgs were giving Hillary a 100% chance of winning for most of the night (I was watching the election live), and then suddenly a ton of state started flipping and there was mass panic on every station.
