I always wished they did a sequel to continue the story, or perhaps craft a new one. I really enjoyed the games. Maybe this will be some trippy business and they reveal a game that ties into the show.
Still need to play this game. I bought it when it was on sale on Steam right before it was delisted. Just so much other shit to play, that I haven't gotten around to it.
Noah Hawley would have been best, but Calloway is no slouch. Cautiously optimistic.
Optimistic for this, hope it turns out well and nails the atmosphere, if they do it right they could even rival the TV show inspiration for Alan Wake - Twin Peaks.
I like the source material and the showrunners, but there is no fucking way this is gonna be better than The Return
I legitimately do not believe any TV event will ever come to beat The Return. I sound like I'm overrating it, but watching The Return week by week was a truly magical experience, and I do not feel like I will ever get an experience like that again from any telly.
i hope its as campy as twin peaks was.
It would be neat if they got Poets of the Fall to do more music as The Old Gods of Asgard and do the theme song for the show.
Microsoft has decided to not fund any new Alan Wake or Quantum Break titles.
I wouldn't be shocked to see this show either try to build trust in microsofts eyes for the brand, or at least get fan hype that may lead to a crowd funding attempt.
The story needs to be tied together, the fans have been blueballed for so long and its a shame to see such a well constructed experience rot in the bin
I wouldn't expect it. Microsoft was pretty clear about it. And a crowdfunding project for an IP owned by Microsoft is even less likely.
