Pass is free, you can even grab it if you don't own it (lol) Battlefield 1 Premium Pass
and since Origin's site is a POS, here is the price on Origin

Same for BF4 premium pass
I've heard good things about BF1. I would totally jump on this if I had literally any money.
Don't buy the 10 dollar one. All you get are some skins and battlepacks since the included premium pass is free right now.
You can get the pass on its own for free following the link in the OP. Also what's your Origin name?
Would BF1 be worth it?
The last time I played BF1 was during the open beta and I had mixed opinions regarding it.
As the last Battlefield game I played before the open beta for BF1 was the BF4 open beta (Which I enjoyed) and BF3 (Which I also enjoyed).
How long's this going on for? Might grab it later, found the beta enjoyable enough.
Also, what's the playerbase like nowadays?
for $5 for the base game and the DLC being free, i think its worth it.
So how do you get the pass? Does it just arrive when you buy it?
Well shit, I was actually planning on getting the premium pass this week so I could play some more BF1.
You get a package in the mail that contains a support number on a card that you have to call. Then you will talk to Habi-Charlie who will read you a CD key that you will have to manually redeem in the Origin client.
No, it's 2018, it gets added to your account...
I actually found out you just go to extra content and download it.
A week.
My Origin account got hacked without my knowing a few years ago, when I managed to get back into my account I saw that my account with my BF3 and 4 progress was blocked by punkbuster lol. Guess Ill make a new account to buy this one.
With BF4 I needed to download all the DLC seperately, do I need to do the same with BF1?
Should get some fun out of this tomorrow.
I mean this is a Season pass, which gives you access to all the DLC.
However each DLC is its own install, much like any other Expansion or DLC being added to a game.
5 dollars for BF1? Fuck man I'll snag it even though my computer has no chance of running again. They probably won't do this again.
Is there a discord for Battlefield so we can maybe organize some squad play shit
I dunno, but i didnt have to dl anything, and normal users can play premium if they have a friend with it in party, so...
1:1 dollars to euros, argh.
Ah fuck it, cheaper than a couple of pints.
Last time they did this, this was done because they didn't give you premium, only the inidividual DLC
now, ALL BF4 and BF1 DLC and Premium are $0.00
You can gift these to your friends too if they own the basegame.
I've spend a few minutes every time EA would cycle the DLC prices, just gifting this shit to people who don't own it
About fucking time. Installing this game to find out like 90% of the players went on to the DLC exclusive maps was the worst thing about this title.
Pretty sure this is more thanks to DICE than EA, IIRC they've done this ever since BF4 was about to release, but I haven't seen EA treat any of their other franchises like this
I know there was a good reason to Install this game again! I didn't even know about this free stuff until today. Good on DICE and EA,
pretty sure they're all bundled into the game anyway.
they have a promotion sometimes called 'premium friends', so if anyone in your party had premium, you could join them and play on the maps
Glad the entire shit's scrapped for how the titanfall2 approach. No more splitting up the playerbase
i too will choose to actively support EA and give them money. though not really im not retarded.
Well, guess I might as well grab it and see what it's about, then.
As someone who loved Titanfall 2, I remember that it didn't end its run of content with a lot of it. Sure, you couldn't buy cosmetics which would allegedly support the game's development but that didn't really change when those cosmetics did finally arrive.
I enjoyed most of that content, but between the last couple of EA games with "no paid DLC!" like Battlefront 2 or Mass Effect Andromeda failing to deliver I'm convinced the problems with the content model run a lot deeper than awkward release dates and brand recognition and that it won't change anything for BFV.
Yup, the game's meant to come out in a couple months, and they're pushing LIVE SERVICESSSS, and yet to even state any real post launch plans.
Like, a tides of war that lasts a few months, and their first map release is in early 2019.
Not looking great when it took dice five months for their first DLC for BF1, and then an additional 5 months for the second.
Game's already behind on development schedules as is
I am only interested in the single player campaign, the World War 1 multiplayer setting doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
5€ is not a bad deal, I am down, otherwise I would have someday just used the "Linux Distro" version, to play the single player once then delete the game.
